Clark the Rabbit and His Infected Face

Clark, a three year old male angora grey rabbit had a chronic mucopurulent (pus) ocular discharge that resulted in a severe facial infection. The ventral lacrimal puncta (ducts that drain tears) were obstructed. We administered a topical anesthetic and flushed the ducts to open the canals. Now Sheila can appreciate Clark’s beautiful eyes.
